Sms on w10

I have w10 on both pc and phone. How can i read sms via pc? The app dont show them, should i use cortana? How?

Sending text messages from PC is possible, but reading them isn't possible (just yet).

We expect this feature to be added at some point, but we can't say when that will happen, because we simply don't know

And the message and Skype app? Whats the point of that? Anyway i cant send sms from pc, dunno why...

In Cortana type or say,"text (name) type or say your message and hit send. U just can't receive yet. It's pretty cool because I'd much rather type on key board instead on my phone.

I write send a message, choose my contact , write text and it says it could take 1 minute to send. Then cortana closes ad nothing happens

My cortana and start menu aren't working since the last update, but I never had this happen before that. The only quirk I noticed was that she would constantly select the same contact as soon as I gave the voice command to send a text..

Speaking of which, did you try with voice commands?

So you can't receive texts? It will be a much better feature when it can do that. I didn't even know the feature was there then suddenly I got a notification I missed a call and I could text a reply. So I typed in Cortana to send a text and it worked! Was sad to see I didn't get the reply on my PC tho....
