So did anyone else's Xbox Family Gold Plan autorenew after the cutoff?

This is weird. My family gold subscription was set to expire on Sept. 12. I knew the plan was ending, and had gotten the notifications about the kids' accounts being converted to full gold accounts with a few months added, so I figured I had a bit of time to pick up some cheap 12 month Live gold cards for them before the end of the year. Well, on Sept. 12th, I get an email saying my Family Gold plan had autorenewed for the standard $99.99 + tax. Sure enough, my card has been charged, and the plan shows as expiring in Sept. 2014. I didn't think that was supposed to happen.

I guess as long as you had 3 people on the account you wouldn't have lost any money...but I too thought it had ended. Maybe we read the release and they weren't offering it to new customers, but they weren't going to force current subscribers to become disconnected until the Xbone releases?
