Hi,
after not being notified on cyan I did a firmware update through the Nokia Software Recovery Tool which in terms of 8.1 Update 1 seems to have been a downgrade.
I enabled Preview for Developers and went through several updates so now I am stuck with this:
OS-Version: 8.10.14716.243
Firmware: 3058.500000.1425.002
Is this (finally) the cyan update?
One more thing:
I was promised that SMS, pics, apps and all settings would be restored. As expected, this did not happen. It didn't happen last time either.
Contacts are restored and I could download the apps again.
App properties are lost. I have all pics on OneDrive.
Things I miss:
- My Nokia MixRadio profile has vanished. How can I get it back?
- While no pics are lost, I still miss the original layout sorted by date in the camera roll. Can I somehow copy them back to make this happen again (e.g. by not changing the pics names?)
- In general I find the picture transfer to OneDrive difficult because eventually you delete a lot of pics from your camera roll. However having the automatic back up switched on means these will not be deleted from OneDrive, so you will have to delete everything twice, which ends up in confusion.
