Ongoing changes are being consolidated... There was some earlier discussion here: http://forums.windowscentral.com/site-feedback-help/400530-cant-give-thanks-post.html

Basically all Thanks + Likes were rolled together. There is only Like from this point forward. This change is being implemented across all Mobile Nations sites.

As pioneers of the ever changing world of culture and technology, Mobile Nations has decided that gratitude is a thing of the past. Gratification is the present and the future. In order to remain consistent with the present and the future, Mobile Nations has decided to do away with any sort of "Thanks giving", and instead focus on "Likes." Gratitude is for the birds. Instant gratification is what we all really crave.

You can still see the "Thanks" option on the Windows Central mobile app. Tapping it registers it in the app, but no thanks is actually shown on the forums.
