Solved - Some Apps are frozen whilst installing after latest 8.1 Update

Hi all,
don't know if anyone else had the same problem, but I'll report my experiences in case it helps.

Got the latest update from O2 for 8.1 on my bog standard 1020. All seemed to go well and smoothly until it had finished and i started to dig around for changes (and official Cortana).
I then noticed two things -
? No Cortana (She came in another update almost straight after)
? Lots of my Apps were listed as "installing", in the App list, and would not open. Looking in the marketplace showed no outstanding downloads !
I seriously thought i might have to hard reset !
Anyway, the next update popped up (Uk Cortana) and the problem persisted after it was finished. I figured I'd leave it for a bit to see, and about half an hour later (i checked every ten minutes or so) the problem had resolved itself. Phew !
So hope this information helps.

i am trying to turn on app corner. and my phone is not allowing it, giving me a message that apps are still installing.... although they are not.

still giving me the same error message. even after giving it some time to install.... ill try again later today.
