Hello, how are you? I have recently bought a Lumia 520, and I have two doubts:

1- I have a RM-914 model, is there any way to flash or update it to a RM-915 rom? Because I want the 3G frequencies changed.
2- I have synchronized many accounts (Hotmail, Gmail, LinkedIn) but I can't sync Facebook correctly. It doesn't appear in email-accounts and when I try adding it with myAddress@facebook.com, I have some error. Anyways, I have logged in my Live account, and sync my Facebook account there, but it doesn't appears on my phone (LinkedIn did).

Thanks a lot,

Greetings!

I may have misunderstood, but are you trying to make it compatible with different bands? You cannot do that with a simple ROM change.

Facebook isn't an email account, when you add Facebook to accounts, it syncs chat with Messaging. It should be accessible from there and People. (or the official app)

Ok, I understood the first...

But I have already synchronized with my Facebook account as I said, but still my Facebook contacts don't appear on Messaging or People...

Thanks a lot for the answer,

Greetings!

If you have already synced. Go to contacts -> Options -> Settings -> Filter My Contact List --> Tick on Facebook

If facebook is not written there means there's a problem with sync

Your phone may have linked Facebook details to those matching contacts on your other accounts. Open a few contact cards and check if it says Gmail or hotmail and Facebook under the contact name

It doesn't appear on the filters... But still, I have erased the "connection" in my Live account and done it again and nothing yet... Has it something to do that my Facebook address has been registered with another email? I don't think so, because I was prompt to log in my Facebook account and in the connection details there weren't any problems.

Thanks for the responses, will keep trying.

Greetings!

If you deleted the facebook connection in the live settings you must now delete the facebook account in the phone under accounts and set it up again in the phone

It doesn't appear in the phone Accounts... I don't have a "Facebook" option to add the account like with GoogleMail, Outlook, etc...

The problem is that it doesn't appear as added on the Phone... I have also tried downloading the Microsoft Facebook App, but it was of no use.

Greetings!

The application has nothing to do with it just to let you know. That's separate. If you go to Settings>Email+Accounts Facebook is either already there or you have to add it by picking "Add an account". This will then give you the option to filter your contacts and include your Facebook friends. If Facebook isn't listed under "Add an account" then that has to mean that it's already added and you'd want to hold your finger over it, pick delete, and manually add it again.

Ok. The thing was like this:

1-The phone was flashed.
2-I went to Email and Accounts. Facebook wasn't there as a predefined option. I tried adding it as an e-mail account like myFacebookAddress@facebook.com
2.1-This threw an generic error and never worked.
3-I set up my Facebook account from my Live account.
3.1-It doesn't appeared on Email or Accounts, and I don't have the option to filter contacts by Facebook, so I hasn't synchronized well (following the comments above), but on Live it has no problems. In fact, in Live I have Facebook chat working, but not on the phone.

I hope that clarifies the problem a bit. Thanks a lot for the answers already given.

Greetings!
