Well, that pretty much falls in line with what Intel has been saying, and that's great! It's a little disappointing that it can't quite compete with top-tier ARM chips, but it's close enough that the UX on Bay Trail devices should be smooth enough. Afterall, the system requirements for Windows have not gone up since Vista, so it only makes sense that there would be a point at which Atom would catch up enough to provide a high quality experience, and Bay Trail is likely where that threshold is crossed.

Although the new chip is a decent improvement, it looks like it only JUST caught the other's.. I personally love it.

The only other thing is everybody keeps benchmarking the premier chip Z3770. But a vast majority of the tablets I've seen advertised are coming with the Z3740! Which has a bit lower clock. I want to know benchmarks of the bay trail Z3740 vs clover trail Z2760. It seems these two are the most direct competitors. I think Intel would rather show off their best processor first.
