If I'm not mistaken it happens when an app is updating. I've had it happen to me before.

No, there are no history of updates in my store!

I get those is when its validating the apps I have on an SD card. A couple of times, I've had to remove & re-pin the tile to fix it.

It happens to apps that backup to OneDrive during the process. Just wait and it will turn back to normal.
