Spare tablets and ideas?

Hi all, I have two spare Win 8.1 tablets that I have as spares when we last upgraded. I'm looking for ideas to use around the house.
I would really like to mount them, but am stuck figuring out all the apps I could use around the house. I know Xbox music could easily be pushed to any of my bluetooth setups, but beyond that, any ideas?

You could use it in the kitchen. Evernote to store your recipes and XBox Music/Video or Netflix or just Radio for some entertainment while cooking. Also YouTube videos when you want to try some new cooking technique. (some case/screen protector would be nice, so you don't have to wash your hands everytime you want to touch the screen).
