Speakers on Surface Pro 4

Hey! Anyone have any information on the quality of the speakers on SP4? I'm curious if they are an upgrade from SP3 and wonder why the quality isn't mentioned much in reviews. To me, the speakers are actually amazing! Anyone agree?

Dual, front-facing speakers positioned on either side of the screen project audio toward your ears does wonders. The other bonus is that the speakers are much better and louder . Plus the speakers/headphones use the same driver!

I love the sound.

The SP4 speakers are average. You won't notice anything amiss watching youtube clips and such, but relying on them to fill a space with quality music - meh.
The SP2 speakers were noticeably better. I heard the difference immediately. OTOH, the SP4 speakers aren't any worse than on my work laptop. I need compare them to my wife's HP x360 Spectre.

Can't compare to the SP3, but coming from an RT they're really great. Huge improvement.

For what they are I think they're fairly good. Has adequate volume for my old ears and the sound of voices and such are reasonably natural with little distortion. I would want a set of speakers if I used it for area music but that isn't a shot at the speakers, filling a room with sound isn't their job.
