Speech recognition does not detect all commands such as Text, Note, Find...

Hello

I am using an HTC 8S Windows phone 8. The speech recognition does not work correctly. While it is able to detect some commands like "Call", "Open" and "Redial", it is not able to understand the remaining commands such as Text, Note, Find...
Any suggestions? Ofcourse, I tried to talk slowly, loudly, crisply...but it still does not understand.

The speech recognition is still in its nascent stages and far from being refined. I tried it on my lumia 920 and It recognized all of those commands. Just try turning your phone off and trying again.

Are you kidding me ? Wp8 perfectly recognises everything i say, and i got a thick indian accent.

I find Tell Me to be really hit or miss. With the misses being quite funny more times than not.

@bashbaliga - lucky you buddy. My HTC 8S recognizes just 3 commands. For the rest it says "Sorry could not catch that"

Make sure your phone is in the English (India) in settings.

Yes, I tried that as well. Tried restarting the phone too...*sigh*
