Spotlight

I have windows 10 home edition and everytime I set spotlight from the personalization settings it does not show up on the screen when I log in ...I ve tried it many times ...any fix for this ?

FWIW, my Spotlight never shows first thing... But it is always there if I sleep then wake. I'm sure it has to do with being offline for an extended period.

I've changed settings on my Windows 10 desktop but Spotlight shows weather for Washington, DC only!
