Have to wonder if the Series S was a bad call at this point. That initial burst of sales no longer seems worthwhile when the console is seemingly prohibitive the xbox ecosystem as a whole. Developers just don’t seem interested in it, they’re actively struggling with it and avoiding the platform now.

Not saying this affected FF16 deal in any way, but it’s clear it’s hurting. MS is going to need to address it as time goes on (maybe some games get cloud only versions on the Series S, sad as that would be). The series S is a great piece of kit though and priced so well. Sad to see the cost of that flexibility is being paid in the *entire platform* potentially missing games though

increasingly, i think you might be right. kinda reminds me of the lumia 520. yes, 520 led to massive volume for windows phone for a time, but devs had a lot of trouble shrinking down their apps to get them to run properly on it vs. the higher-end nokia lumia phones.
