Start menu problems

Hi,

On last few builds (now on 17686 ) my start menu is beyond bad. I've gone back to desktop shortcuts.

Anyone else found this ?

Any fixes/ways around it ?

Can you tell us more about what is wrong with the start menu?

I'm having the same issues. Since the last two builds on my Surface Pro 4. I can use the start menu to scroll to the app and click on it. The problem is with the Cortana window. I got used to typing the first few letters of an app which then brings the app up so I can click on it. When I do that now, the app appears but the screen is unresponsive. I cannot click on anything within the window that opens which looks very different than it used to.

I had some start menu issues a while back on my desktop. I lost my patience, and reloaded Windows. Since then, it has been fine.

Is there anyway you can do the same?

Yeah, probably time for a hard reset anyway.
