Start screen tiles shifted

After I changed the start screen background and then removed it, the tiles on my start screen got smaller and shifted to the left. Why is this, and how can I fix it?

You accidently switched on the "show more tiles" option. You can revert it by going to start+theme in settings, scroll down and switching "show more tiles" to off.
