What's the effect on battery life if you stay logged into Facebook?

Do you mean via the people hub or the facebook app? Not sure it's even possible to logout if its the former.

Are you referring to logging into facebook chat via messaging? If so it does have a noticeable effect on battery life, but it's not huge (your mileage may vary, of course).

Facebook uses highly optimized push data on WP. It might have a tiny, minimal effect on the battery, but not a significant one in my experience.

The app? About zero unless it's open and active.
