Yeah, I feel bad about the phone especially for the fact I'm a strong proponent for windows phone amongst my mates. Everyone of them who owns a windows phone (apart from one who owns the L800) bought it do to my strong argument for the OS. And it diminishes my credibility when I make the argument that windows phone has a reliable upgrade support for its devices but well I guess most understand that this is a first generation windows smartphone.

Yeah, thats the fair point I usually make and regardless Nokia (windowsphone) has done a great job keeping their devices (including low-end) up to date.The 800 is really old by today's smartphone standards, it's not strange that it doesn't get updated anymore. You don't expect a galaxy s1 or an iphone 3gs to get all the latest updates either.

Have also a L630, but the screen of the L800 is much, much better.
i would pray for a Lumia 800 made out of metal with L930 internals, just keep the shape of 800![]()
