Stopping lumia

Do you think ending the Lumia device series is a wrong move by Microsoft ?
Because the phones like hp moly etc are not available in all region or countries. So we don't have choise. Which may have decreased the windows phone market.

Personally, I didn't agree with their moves, but I forget where I read that they wanted to shed the Lumia brand after purchase due to the stigma that Lumias are 'cheap, entry-level smartphones'. Or something like that. Of course, they could've just made more high-end devices, or could've released something with McLaren's technology, or just could've left Nokia alone and let them create the creative, colorful phones we all knew and loved. But here we are, barely able to keep Windows phones alive.

Then again, that's a gripe many people have had with Microsoft and some other products...
