I ordered one of theses for my friend who has straight talk with ATT sim. Is anyone else using this phone on straight talk? What APN and MMS settings did you use?

Unless your friend's SIM is more than a year old, this should be what you need:

NAME: Straight Talk
APN: tfdata
PORT: 80
MMSC: http://mms-tf.net
MMS PROXY: mms3.tracfone.com
MMS PORT: 80

Otherwise, have your friend check here for the exact info (just skip any proxy info for the Data APN):

Make sure that this is entered into the Nokia Access Point app, and not the standard Windows Phone APN settings. Otherwise it may not work properly.

His sim is over a year old. Thanks for the advice on the Nokia AP app.

I can't find the Nokia app, what's the exact name so I can find it.

I tried modifying the APN info in the regular windows settings without luck

That unfortunately doesn't work. Are you guys who got it working running 8.1? It seems like lots of people are having the same issue as me.

What isn't working for you? Internet and mms?

Neither internet or mms work.

I've always had to use access point to get my phone work correctly in the past and access point appears to not work with 8.1

And you're using straight talk?

Screen shot your configurations, cellular settings. Access point is negligible with the recent updates. All are done under cellular.

Here you go. I was lazy and just took pictures with my note.

My MMS wouldn't work (ATT ST sim card) until i changed to IPv4. for whatever reason IPv4v6 default would NOT work for me. As soon as I changed it to IPv4, my MMS worked like a charm.
