Strange Lumia 900 issue

Have had my phone for 3 months no issues. A couple minutes ago it just started vibrating. It would not stop. It did this for about 10 minutes. It then stopped on its own a rebooted. Any Idea whats going on?

Is there a procedure to do a hard reset if the screen is black and not responding?

I had an issue like that with my Galaxy S2, in which I just did a battery pull to fix. I was told to hold down the power button for 30 seconds to do a hard reset on the Lumia. Im not sure if this is correct, though.
