Hello,

I acquired a Lumia 735, and I'm afraid it's my turn to experiment the infinite cogs screen.
edit: I forgot to say it was by updating to WP8.1 update 1 with my dev account.

After waiting 5 or 6 hours, I tried to:
- Soft reset, still cogs screen
- Pop out the sd card, still cogs screen

Now my phone is lying near my wifi since like 30mins without its sd card after a last soft reset, still on cogs screen.
Maybe i just have to wait 1 or 2 hours like that without the SD card ?

Meanwhile, i found NSU (Nokia Software Update for Retail)
It's kind of bothering me because it's to go back to WP8, and the lumia 735 is natively on WP8.1,
I don't know if there is any known issue by doing that or if it's even working safely with the possibility to going back to WP8.1

If anyone has any idea, I'm all ears !
Thanks,

I don't think the Nokia Recovery Tool will take a machine that's natively designed for 8.1 and make it run Windows Phone 8. Heck, I just used it to refresh my Lumia 1020 and it kept it on 8.1! ... for some reason.

Hi,
I tried NSU but it couldn't detect my phone....

Big news though:
My phone is working again.....
Since the last soft rest, we can say it took 4 hours and half.
Since the beginning, something like 10 or 12 hours ?

It works some time after i plugged it on my computer.... I'm sure it has nothing to do with but still... karma ?

My advice: with compiling every stuff i could read
Pop your sd card, plug your phone to your computer, near your wifi spot, go to sleep, and have a look after a nice breakfast.. eventually it's gonna be alright.

See you folks,

You didn't need to update it to the developers preview. It was alreadyy on 8.1 update 1 with denim

I thought too but even if i had the Cyan color, i didn't have live folders.
Maybe because I'm from France and it's not exactly the same software on the release ?
Don't know
