... I had to do a full reset using the Device Recovery Tool. Of course afterwards, I had a bunch of updates ready go. I installed one, no issues. I then installed a second, but have now been stuck on 0% of step 20 out of 22 of the "Migrating Your Data" process. It has been stuck on that for about 30 minutes now, which is very unusual in my experience. I have been a WP user since Windows 8 was first released (got a 920 on opening day) and have had to do a hard reset on at least a few occasions during that time. In addition, I have obviously had dozens and dozens of regular updates as well. In all of those, I have never been suck on a step of data migration for this long at the same percentage of completion.
Any thoughts on this? I'm starting to get worried here.
EDIT: It lasted for over an hour so I went back to the recovery tool and redid everything. I made sure to do all updates before moving to Win10 via the Insider app. I then updates to Win 10 and am now stuck in the exact same place. Is it possible that the apps that were on my phone from Win10 (I restored from a backup) that do not work on Win8.1 are interfering with the ability to migrate my data? That doesn't make sense to me but it is the only thing I can think of right now.
