Stylus lookout thread

well, looking out for availability of Samsung's Stylus. Last I heard it was rumored to be available in April, and it's May already. I require a stylus for on the go sketching and such. I will see if maybe the product "Active Stylus" will work if Samsung takes any longer.

So far no one shows it in stock. Using part # EJ-UW700CBEGUJ, the lowest advertised price I can find is $37.58 at valleyseek.com. I have never purchased from them, and would probably end up ordering from amazon anyway, where there is no current listing.\

One site did say that availability was "10+ days" out, so it doesn't look like it'll be any time soon.

i just chatted with a Samsung agent and he told me the stylus IS available but only through the accessories sales department 18557268721 ... asked about a couple other accessories too for my note 5... apparently samsung doesn't sell everything online. which is dumb, how else will we know whats available for purchase.

only problem is their only open mon-fri. wont be able to fully verify this till monday.

Looks like it. Not a bad price though. Think its cheaper then the adapter.

Has anyone ordered it from Samsung? I do see it on their site when I view on my phone or on PC when searching for pen but it doesn't allow it to be ordered. I went ahead and ordered it from Amazon but expected ship date is 6/29. I'm wondering if the delay is related to Windows 10 anniversary update which will add Directink.

Me too, though I don't have high hopes. The bit about the windows release also sounds like it might have something to do with it, especially if there is some critical function to facilitate palm rejection for bt stylus that MS has to integrate.

Does anyone know the difference between EJ-PW700CBEGUJ and EJ-PW700CBEGWW? Interestingly Samsung are advertising the stylus with Mont Blanc Pix S Pen - Samsung Galaxy TabPro S + Mont Blanc Pix S Pen (Wifi, Black) - SAMSUNG UK Samsung Store UK , checking the website, this pen is shown to support the Galaxy Note 4 and this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJDQV1R_3U4 shows that it works with the galaxy edge. Perhaps other stylus work with this device?

I just got my TabPro S a couple of weeks ago and have wondered if the pen was worth it. Are you still liking it? No issues with it?

I can confirm that EJ-PW700CBEGWW is the same as the one in the video above and in the style of the Wacom pen.
