I would to suggest that the next firmware version has a 640x480 setting. The new version of Skyfire supports screens of up to 640 wide. It will not currently work with the redfly.

TIA.

Could I suggest a setting to retain the default resolution of the phone? (e.g. Treo 800w = 320x320)

Applications (such as Documents To Go and photograph-heavy Powerpoint presentations when using Powerpoint Mobile) have a lagged response time. I really want to use the Redfly when taking notes during meetings and switching between notes and Powerpoint slides.

Maintaining the resolution is of relatively limited use, as it kinda defeats the purpose of the Redfly.

That being said, the ability to cycle through several resolutions (especially on the fly) would actually be pretty cool, especially if you had the option to have it scale to fill the screen.

320x320 would look kinda silly on the Redfly's screen, but 640x480 wouldn't look bad at all, and might reduce lag/delay on older/slower phones.

I absolutely agree with you and I'd love to have a nice large display that doesn't lag. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with the Redfly's slow performance with Documents To Go and I don't see any way around this other than to do one of the following:

* asking Celio to aggressively improve UI performance,
* asking Dataviz to work with Celio, and/or
* asking Celio to perhaps have a keyboard-only mode or something similar.

I figured the last option would be the path of least resistance for Celio's engineers.

Still probably couldn't view flash however. :(

Flash works fine.

The issue is if it's video or games with a high refresh rate. RedFly coupled with limited PocketPC hardware is not going to give us good refresh rates without some serious tweaking. May never be good unless hooked up to a device with a dedicated graphics processor that knows how to use the RedFly resolution.
