It was said that directx12 will release with W10. So, I have to assume the Surface 3 is upgradable to direct x12. Here is some tech specs on the Atom x7 chip if interested:

ARK | Intel? Atom? x7-Z8700 Processor (2M Cache, up to 2.40 GHz)

Anyone have any additional info? I mean...I know it's still a far way out, and intel doesn't even have the w10 drivers ready fro these atoms yet, but the S3 GPU seems to be many steps below that of the i3 SP3
