Surface 3 kept shutting off

Hello. When I connect my Surface 3 with a USB hub to my wireless mouse and Huawei Honor 5X my Surface kept shutting off.

is that hub a good one? Try a different hub or try the individual devices alone and see which causes the issue

You are overvolting the port. The USB port on the device only puts out .9Amps so you need a powered USB to have all of that stuff plugged into it.
