Surface 3 overheats and shuts down

i recently purchase surface 3 (128gb with 4gb ram) and ive seen a couple of videos on youtube before purchasing about gaming, i know surface 3 cant handle heavy games but for example i installed pes 2013 but roughly after 5 minutes shuts down... is my surface having overheating issues or this is normal for every surface 3 user?
