Surface 3 scrolling stutters?

Hello, all.

Been playing with my new Surface 3 LTE 128GB, 4GB memory... I seem to be experiencing a lot of stuttering when scrolling through apps (browser, tablet apps, Sports App, News App, etc).

When it is plugged in, it seems to scroll much more smooth. When not plugged in, the scrolling is very choppy. I am not sure if this is a charging thing? Or an LTE thing? Or what?

Does anyone else notice their scrolling to be choppy? Maybe I am expecting too much?

I am on Windows 10...

Thanks.

They have a 128GB LTE version? Oh well, I don't have the LTE, but the regular 128GB version and no stuttering. But I don't use it a lot. It's a lot slower than my laptop. I use it when I travel because it is a lot smaller and does what my laptop can do, just slower..

Yeah, the unlocked 128GB LTE model was released over the weekend at Microsoft stores and microsoft.com.

Thanks for your reply.

Yeah I have this issue also, on my WiFi only 128GB model. It's quite subtle, but can be very frustrating. It happens when I scroll slow and continuously. It doesn't happen when scrolling with the trackpad, which lead me to believe it was a manufacturing issue. I took mine back to the retailer I purchased it from to compare against the one on display, and it also had the same jittery scrolling. One of the guys there told me it may be because it has a (relatively) low end processor, but that's no excuse as I'm pretty sure the Intel Atom processor can handle smooth scrolling.
