I have a Surface Pro. I would like to add an external graphics to it so I could start running VR on it. If anyone could give me any suggestions or recommendations as to what I need, or if it is even possible to add an external graphics card. I honestly have a very small and basic understanding of this.

Thanks.

Surface devices don't have Thunderbolt, which is needed to connect external PCIe devices (such as graphics cards).

The Thunderbolt controller provides a link between the USB port, and the PCIe lanes on the system.
