Surface Book Insider 14955 - Firmware Failing to Install

With the latest release of firmware I am having three parts of it fail to install. Surface UEFI, Surface System Agg, Surface Embedded Controller all fail. Anyone else run into this? The system is very unstable - Explorer crashes and I am forced to reboot using the ALT+CTRL+DEL menus, takes hours to boot up and shut down.

Sounds like you might need to go get the current windows image for the Surface Book and do a re-image of your machine. Then, while running a production build, attempt to install the new firmware again.
