!!! Surface Laptop 2 !!!

Have just moved from ASUS C302CA M3 to this SL2 i5 8GB 256GB.

I am unsure of win10 as of yet.

It doesn't seem as "easy" as the chromebook but I guess it's not supposed to.

I bought this to run Microsoft stuff like Word etc and maybe a photoshop.

I like it, it is a sexy looking beast for sure.

My main gripe is that the backlight of the keyboard goes off after 20 seconds.

I just want it on, I don't care about battery.

I read on the 1st surface that you couldn't leave it on.

Is it possible they've gone with the 20 seconds on and then off again?

Sweet jesus if that's the case.

I'm going to have to duct tape a flashlight to my head.

Can win10 do something with stuff like that or is it a hardware issue.

I really hope not, it would be incredible.

I have heard some say "touch type" or this and that but I can't help feeling they should cater for all. What a forced choice if that's the way they have gone. Can't even imagine what they would come up with apart from the save battery and in the end I'm not even interested.

Please can someone with a bit of knowledge on these matters help me out?
