Surface Laptop and Citrix Receiver

Hello guys,

Recently my company moved towards Hosted Virtual Desktops (HVD). So I got myself the shiny Surface Laptop. But when I log into my network via Soft Token, my Desktop looks all washed out and fonts are all like how when you take a 20 photo copies of the same document, how the 20th copy looks.

Initially I thought it was the connection issue, but then I realized, from my desktop, which is also on Windows 10, the my HVD is clear and sharp.

Later on, I've tried it on the Surface Pro, and I am having the same issue as on my Surface Laptop.

I connect using Citrix Receiver. So, wanted to check if anyone is having this issue I am taking about. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi there,

I've experienced a similar issue but with VMware Horizon View with View Agent 7.3.1 and a HP Elite X2 tablet.
At the moment we've downgraded View Agent to 6.2.3 for further troubleshooting.

To give an update on this topic, recently Citrix pushed update to their receiver and that fixed the washed out issue on my laptop. So, it's all good. Thanks to Citrix.
