Surface laptop vs surface book

Hey, now that surface book prices are coming down, finding a 256gb with nvidea gpu for a similar price as the new surface laptop 256 is more common, which would be the better buy. Is the updated i5 on the surface laptop worth it? Dell XPS 13 is also in the running.

The updated i5 is not worth it considering the Book has a discrete graphics card available. I think the question becomes whether you want the other stuff the Book brings.

Since I am loving overseas I don't have the luxury of trying them out/seeing them in person. Is there typing experience the same as well as the trackpad. I will be replacing my 4 year old Ativ Book 9 plus. Also, do they both use the faster SSD's?

Book has better battery, the GPU is far more better for harder work/games. Maybe wait for Octber that book2 may come out
