Hi fellow forum members. I am wondering if the Surface Pro 2 is a viable product for me.
My current computer is a 2012 15'' Samsung series 9 which has the following specs:
-1.7 Ghz 3317U Intel Core 5 cpu
-8GB RAM
-128 GB SSD (this model has the sandisk u100 ssd so it sometimes lags on me)
My set-up:
-Toshiba USB 3.0 Dynadock station that powers the following:
--one 21.5'' Acer 1080p monitor
--one 23'' LG 1080p monitor
--connected printer
--keyboard,mouse, speakers,etc
As you can see, I value portability a lot as I have the Series 9 which is seriously thin. However, the subpar ssd is starting to bug me.
If I were to upgrade to the surface pro 2, would I see noticeable improvements in cpu (1.7ghz ivy bridge vs 1.6 ghz haswell), graphics (intel hd 4000 vs hd 4400), and most importantly ssd performance (sandisk u100 vs either 128gb/256gb in the surface pro 2).
