I have a Surface Pro4, i7, 512GB 16gb ram.
I love this computer but it has developed a problem over the last few weeks. It has started to overheat. I first saw this when I realised that the screen was ghosting when I use an external screen via my surface dock.
I thought this might be a software problem so I re installed W10, no help.
I now have to use an external fan directed at the rear of my Surface to keep it cool enough for extended use, if not it starts ghosting after about 40 minutes with just 25% brightness on the screen. really annoying.
Unfortunately the 1 year guarantee has already expired :unhappy:
Any ideas on what could be causing this problem and how I could resolve.
