Surface Pro LTE when will i receive pre order

Hi, I pre ordered the surface pro with LTE, the release date is 05/01/2018 I'm wondering if any one has any past experience with Microsoft if they will ship on the release date or I will receive it on the release date?

I've contacted Microsoft and every rep says something else.

Update: Just received email from Microsoft that the Surface Pro LTE shipped and expected delivery is May 8th.

From previous orders from Microsoft i received 2-4 days after shipping.

Final Update: It was delivered yesterday on May 1st, exactly on the release date.
