Swipe keyboard for tablets?

Is there a way to get the swipe keyboard on a tablet, like we have on a mobile/phone device? Or is this a future feature?

Not right now. And it's really annoying. Typing on my surface when the keyboard is not attached is a nightmare.

Numerous posts have been made here and on Microsoft forums about this feature but they seem to be very silent about it. If it was coming I would have thought it would be in the AU update. But this wasn't the case.

I'm sure it may come eventually. When, you ask? No idea...
