Sync Problems with Xbox Live

So everything on Xbox Live was working perfectly (achievements, gamer points, the avatar, etc.), and all of a sudden, gamer points stop syncing (shows 270 on the phone and 250 elsewhere), my avatar isn't showing up, I can't access messages or friends, and nothing works at all.

When I try to get in any section, it says: "We're having problem with the Xbox LIVE service or your connection. Try again later. Error code: 80070490." I'm completely sure I'm connected to WiFi, so that's not the problem.

Anybody who can help me out?

I had that problem last night firebrewd, but it's all working fine for me this morning.

Thanks for the reply. Did you do anything special, or did it start working on its own? I think the problem started about the Dashboard update on the 360, if it could have anything to do.
