Syncing playcounts from L920 to Mountain Lion

Has anybody figured out how to sync playcounts from Windows Phone over to iTunes on either Windows or Mountain Lion? I have OSX 8, but I believe whatever solution is on Windows will be the same for mac. I know that the WP connector does not allow playcount syncing since I emailed Windows about it.

Xbox Music on Windows 8 doesn't seem to have play counts so I wouldn't be surprised if the phone didn't either

Even on Windows, the desktop client sync with iTunes isn't really a "sync", just a glorified file copy. Metadata like ratings, etc.don't appear to get synced either to/from the phone.
