System FW Update 9/29/2015 + W8.1 = Silience!!

Hey has anyone else noticed that after the System FW Update 9/29/2015 your SP3 has gotten quieter (running W8.1)?

I just noticed that fan on mine hardly ever kicks in anymore, compared to what it used to. And when it does, it doesn't ramp up to high speed, but keeps stays at the whisper slow speed.

BTW, I have I7, 8GB Ram, 256GB SSD

wow that's very good! my SP3 (same spec as yours) with Win10 (not TP) has the fan on ALL the time and its friggen hot.

My i3 SP3 doesn't make a sound with Win10 TP (latest)
