T Mobile adds another 500MB (1GB total) for free starting April 23rd.

That's a nice deal. It looks like T-Mobile has really stepped up to get the price wars going between the carriers.

Wonder if they will have a lower priced smaller plan? Also looks like they are dropping unlimited. At least that's how it sounds if you click on it in the link that was provided.

•Unlimited talk, text and web while on our network.
•Up to 500MB of high-speed data. Speeds slowed after 500MB.
Still unlimited but after the 23rd high-speed the first 1GB then slower after that.

*March 23, since there's an error in the thread's title.

I read about this last week or so. Pretty nice, even though I've never come close to using up the entire 500MB I've had since last May.

The way I read: If you currently subscribe to the $70 unlimited plan, that remains unchanged. You'll still have unlimited for the $70. The *new* unlimited plan will be $80, but you'll have double the tethering. Right now with the $70 unlimited you get 2.5GB tethering with that. Current $70 unlimited plan subscriptions go unchanged. However, if you want the extra 2.5GB (5GB total) tethering you'll need to go to the new $80 unlimited simple choice plan but you won't be able to go back to the $70 plan. So, the current $70 unlimited simple choice plan is 'grandfathered'. No change. New subscribers who want unlimited will have the $80 simple choice plan as their option.
