T-Mobile Lumia 925 used international 8.1 preview to official

I bought a Lumia 925 for my mom and I switched it to the developer preview now I am thinking that I better revert to Windows 8 to avoid any issues. The phone is T-Mobile branded but unlocked. When the official Windows 8.1 is released will she receive the update from T-Mobile if she isn't on their network?

The firmware variant determines where the update comes from.
My ATT 920 is flashed to the unbranded French ROM so I get updates when Nokia pushes it out for the French 920, not ATT despite using ATT service.

If the phone is still on the original firmware it will recieve updates through T-Mobile, regardless of what networks its on.
