T-mobile tethering on AT&T unlocked Lumia 640?

Hello. I currently own and use a Lumia 640 AT&T variant that is GSM as my daily driver and I am interested in trying out T-Mobile so I can get unlimited data and 7GB worth of tethering so I am wondering is are you able to use T-Mobile Wi-Fi Hotspot on the AT&T version of the Lumia 640?

If my memory is sufficient, the Lumia 640 has a full universal GSM radio, meaning it'll work with the same performance on T-Mobile as on AT&T (although where you are will still likely change things) so you shouldn't have any issues. However, wait for a second opinion, as I'm not 100%.

I could never get my unlocked AT&T L920 mobile hotspot to work on T-Mobile. It worked fine out of the country on other carriers though.

Tethering works great on my unlocked AT&T 640 with T-mobile.
