T-Mobile tethering question

Is there anyway to get past the tether limit on T-mobile with Windows phone?

Like with android and iphone you can use some other apps or carrier updates to at least block it from counting against your limit. I typically only use mobile devices to tether but would like being able to use the 3 GB I have in case my home internet decides to go down. It's the main thing keeping me from switching to Windows Phone.

I don't tether. What is the T-Mobile tethering limit? 2GB? 5GB? 10GB?

Tether limit for my plan is 3 GB. I have unlimited internet no throttling. There are no fees or anything like when you hit the limit you just get blocked from using it till your bill cycle resets.
