taking lower resolution pics, how?

is there a way to take lower resolution photo instead of the default maximum mp?
sometime need to snap a shot for email and forum posting, its not necessary to shot at maximum & waste memory and bandwidth when sending via email or posting to forum,

any tips or help? btw I can't find option for changing mp in camera setting, but my other phone Huawei W1 has the setting,

i also wonder about this...i think there isnt any option to lower down the image res...maybe you can check out photo settings of the camera.

If I'm correct, you can navigate to camera settings and select the camera resolution from 3MP and up.

Mine does automatically when it attach it to the email.

in camera setting there aspect ratio by default its 16:9 change it to 4:3 may be it reduces the picture size!! not sure..

Changing the aspect ratio doesn't necessarily reduce image resolution (unless its Nokia Cam on L720).
