Text Message Backup - Please help!

I recently purchased the Nokia Lumia Icon on Verizon and my text messages have only come back from April 22nd, 2013 and earlier. I switched from the HTC 8X and used my Windows ID to login and confirmed that I had text backup on, on my HTC. When I logged in, all of my apps, call log, etc. came back and my texts acted like they were going to load but stopped on April. This was over 24 hours ago and they still aren't loading the most recent ones. Has anyone had this issue and have any idea how I can recover my texts? Please help!

Keep going to your Accounts, holding on the Windows Live one, and hitting Sync.
It's doing it to me, too. It'll load about a week to a month at a time, then stall out. I'll just go, start the sync again, and it'll pick up some more.

I'm up through November now.

If you need access to a text from over a year ago, you might want to look into some other archive solution
