texting using Skype

Anyone sending sms messages via Skype? I'd love to text people from my Surface. Just curious if anyone is doing it.

I use Skype on my Windows Phone and on my PC more for typing messages than for talking. I don't have a Surface 2, but if I did that's how I'd use Skye most.
