The 1520 Mic issue

Has anyone come across or found a fix for the mic issue with the 1520 for those who don't know, certian 1520 have a issue wit the mic when on a phone call. it only works with bluetooth hands free, but the weird thing is the mic works on cortana and on the voice record, weird, I perfer to use my bluetooth but I wan a 100% working phone :angry::grin::amaze:

I don't know if it is the same issue, but my 1520 has an issue where people wouldn't be able to hear me. Then after a few seconds, it would be normal. Then go back to really quiet. Turned out it was the Gestures Beta app. I had to hard reset to fix it.

well i unistalled the gestures app,that did not help, thing is i rarley ues the phone to my ear, it's just anoying after two phones, butter fingers, there is this problem

In Bluetooth settings there is an option under advanced. Enable or disable it and see if it works. It fixed a issue i was having with my car bluetooth.

I had this EXACT issue. I took it to a Device Center and swapped it out with a new phone. Defective Mic.

well folks, went to the AT&T repair store, swaped it right out no prolblems now I have a 95% up and running 1520 , 5% will be added when I get the denim up date, which the rep told me should be out by the end of the month
