I've searched all over the forums here for hours and couldn't find a comprehensive tutorial on how to create a VHD for Windows 10 Tech Preview. For those who aren't aware, using a VHD is less risky than partitioning, and it's also a million times faster than using a virtual machine. I know there has to be others out there who are struggling to do this too, so I'm going to link the site I used. I followed this person's instructions exactly and had zero problems.

For the record, I'm on Windows 8.1. Hopefully this helps someone out.
