The bezels

I really like the design and want to get one once released, but I think the bezels are quite big and won't attract as much customers as thin bezels would do. What do you think about it's bezels?

, the bezels are thin where they matter the most; horizontally. Vertically thin bezels are a nice bonus but it is probably more important to keep the device thin (/you need to have space somewhere) so it easier fits in ones pockets.
Best is to just test it in a store when it is released and see if you like it or not.

I wonder if the large bezels are functional. I think of the way I hold a book. I often have my thumb at the bottom, holding the book open. If there was a small bezel at the bottom, the way I naturally hold a book like item might be problematic.

I'm waiting until I actually use the device before I make any assessment of the bezels. They're not very pleasing visually, but they may be very functional.

My Razer 2 has a speaker at the bottom and I still manage to click the wee ads at the bottom of MS games by mistake! A bigger bottom bezel (BBB) will save my life.
